"Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon."
- Raymond Moody
IADC Intensives, founded by seasoned mental health clinicians Kelly Daugherty and April Hannah, is dedicated to providing grief-informed care through transformative retreats, one-on-one sessions, and clinician training. Both motherless daughters, Kelly and April draw from their own experiences of loss to help others navigate the deep sadness of grief. Specializing in Induced After-Death Communication (an EMDR-based therapy), we empower participants to find closure and connection. We also offer continuing education credits and Grief-Informed Professional certification through Evergreen Certifications for mental health professionals, advancing compassionate, research-backed care for those facing profound loss.

Join us for a profound 3-day grief retreat designed to help you reconnect with the energy of your deceased loved one. Using the Induced After-Death Communication (IADC) eye movement technique, this retreat creates a safe, supportive space for the opportunity to make meaningful contact with a person you loved who has died.
This training explores the continuing bonds theory, shifting the focus of grief work from "letting go" to maintaining meaningful connections with loved ones who have died. Participants will learn to integrate this approach into their practice, using evidence-based strategies and creative interventions to expand clients' grief narratives beyond loss.
This one-day training provides the knowledge and tools needed to recognize and address the varied responses to grief, including emotional, cognitive, and physical, among students. Participants will explore current grief models, such as the Dual Process Model and Worden's Tasks, and learn how to apply these frameworks effectively in a school setting.
